Southall

 Sat began with Nazareth community walk around Southall and I did the garden bird watch from the back bedroom window. 4 wood pigeons, 2 crows, robin, 3 coaltits, 1 magpie, 1 blackbird, 2 gulls, 1 wren. Excellent zoom about Lifting the Lid.  Moved all the ornaments in the dining room - there are so many! It can now be painted. Film on Turner at the BBC. B and S. Haircut. Fr Peter can come on March 24th so I have asked him to be a backup. Revd Rose is wellknown to the Gartons! I will try again for her to come next year. Cathedral website advertised the zooms! The congregation clearly enjoyed singing O for a thousand tongues to sing to Lyngham. Postlude Bach In dir ist Freude and I am pleased with my playing of this. Practice helps!! I did some more clearing of the cupboard next to the console and found some treasures including Martin How pieces. Purley

 Wednesday B. Nice chat to Ann. They are going to Tasmania for 6 weeks after all! To St Mark Woodcote for piano recital by Nataly Ganina - good audience, no applause between items, could not hear what was said so not sure if she changed the order. Rachmaninoff, Schubert, Franck.  Friday Sm and S. B did not livestream for some reason. Decorations down in front garden, hall and dining room. Tablet has letter by Bob Turner. St Martin's tea chat. Excellent Southwark group meeting working on our statement re the synod. I cooked curry with aubergine. Delicious. Started to watch Don't look up.  Saturday Rain. SM walk in Lambeth and S. B. To St John's for a lovely concert by the Phacelia ensemble. Cecilia Bignall is a fine cellist and her arrangement of Scarborough Fair was magical. Antonia Kessel on violin and Edward Bale viola.
