Wed the car was taken away for £150 repair to wing and door and we have a pale blue Kia to drive. Ivan transferred the baby seat. For three months - oh dear and it's not even Lent! The worst is cut back on biscuits! Watched Father Brown, twins trying to give up smoking, Bronx Zoo, Chester zoo. Thursday tired again and snow and ice so did not drive at all no Mass or art. Richard from the National Secular Society addressed the South London interfaith group lunch meeting. We look forward to more discussion! I do not agree that religion and politics can be separated. There was not enough time to defend church schools but I did mention closure of adoption agencies and abortion was mentioned as well. 

Mass and Henry came and enjoyed playing track. Played for Audrey Kempson's memorial service and the choir sang well. Shera Nunc dimittis and Rutter Clare benediction and I played the Ogdon Christ has no body. 8 in choir mostly from Woldingham. It felt odd not having the body there. Reception at Soper Hall. Rita was there. Bronx zoo and Couples come dine with me. Icons on art. 

Mosaic. Benjamin Newlove played well at St Michael Cornhill. Certainly knocked the spots of Mendelssohn 4! To Forest Hill to see Ros. Beckenham circle attracted 30 with sausage and mash. Watched Couples come dine with me, Bronx Zoo and sporting icons.   Noel Rawsthorne died. Father Brown was good. 

I tripped on the pavement last night but broke my fall. I was OK and somebody immediately came to help. People are mostly very willing to give us a seat on he subway. I was tired and my knee still not right although walking seems to help. 22/9 lovely day to Bronx Zoo on subways - a long journey. Lovely woods but very spread out. Snow leopard, Amur tiger, Malgas an Indonesian bird, Guira cuckoo, tinamou birds. Reptiles including python on the move. bison, cranes, polar bear, brown bear, Asia monorail great, Indian rhino, tiger, elephant, deer. jungle world leopard, langurs, birds, bat, tortoises, turtles. Shuttle not running so a lot of walking. Lions, nyala, baboons and ibex from Ethiopia. Madagascar lemurs and fossa! bug carousel. Missed African wild dogs, aardvark, okapi and gorillas. Saw tree kangaroo, Komodo dragon. Great day out but tired. Express bus back to manhattan and subways.
