Snow play

Tuesday to organists supper at West Wickham URC hall. Only £10 and good company. I drove to Kent House because of the strike and got to Acton by 10.45 to watch The Apprentice the final 5. Wednesday took Sean n bus and train to Watermans for Snow play - 2 actors brilliantly reacting. Had lunch there. To Kent House to get car and Kevin's drinks at The Crown Shirley. The 6 of us won champagne 2nd prize in the pub quiz. I got a bit bored near the end! Liz was at servers council dinner.

Watermans

To Watermans for the last session this term with Tamar. After lunch at Fields a happy hour listening to readers in Ciaran's class. Ciaran was delighted with the ZSL magazine and let 2 butterflies go. Radio 3 concert of Guerrero and Lobo from York Minster by the Sixteen. Busy putting ne BBQ together - need 2 people and 4 hours!

Thursday 2nd

Up at 6 a.m. and took Bruce and EJ to the station. They had quite a bit more than they came with! We went over to Acton via Willesden junction. I fell asleep on the sofa and the family went to the park. After a nice lunch we took Ciarán to see  Cloudy with a  chance of meatballs 2 cartoon at Watermans and we all enjoyed it. Very clever use of food. When Tom came home we came home. Friday Liz took me to Leigham Court Road and I was early at Streatham health centre. Saw audiologist and my tubes were blocked with wax which is also causing the whistling. Any way both hearing aids are now back in action. Liz went to doctors, took the car to have window mechanism and brake light fixed and saw Josie in the home. I added prices and condition details to the list of surplus organ music. Shocked to hear John Helen's wife Sue died just after Christmas due to a blood clot so sent him a card. He used to be a Catenian. To Charing Cross theatre which is under the station for excellent musica...

Watermans

Wednesday to Brentford. Had time for a coffee before meeting the family at Tamba's class. She was delighted to see us and Ciarán was fully involved especially having Mummy there. He played with Merle. We had a very nice tandoori lunch and then in the car to home. Ended up playing musical instruments in his bedroom. Seán is opening his blue eyes and looking around especially at his cot mobile. Liz went off to RCIA with Bishop John and I went back to Watermans for the film of "Much ado about nothing" from Shakespeare's Globe. Hilarious! In some ways better than the theatre as more comfortable and could see faces so much better but I suppose live theatre is still better! Home around 11.45 p.m.

Ciarán

Tuesday was another long day. Julian came and discussed cuts, budget and problems. Wednesday to Watermans centre Brentford for Ciarán's music and movement class with a brilliant singer and entertainer! The babies were fascinated by the bells and were silent for a while too. Terrific variety of songs and soft and loud music. Back to 7 Shakespeare Road as the cot was delivered and we assembled it. In the afternoon 4 more babies arrived and great fun for all. Tom arrived home and then Cara and Jack came with Joanne so we made pizzas. Cara and I played verbal games and she did a lovely prayer before dinner. We ended up singing favourite children's hymns including the naff ones. What a lovely day! Ciarán was on great form -maybe he will be left-handed? Helen and Yap confirmed a visit to St Paul's school to see Holst's chair!
