Cardinal Vaughan schola sang I was glad and Mozart Coronation Mass at Mass. Well done! Umberto Ferrando RIP always smiling, a great Catenian and faithful Altar Server. To interfaith iftar at West London Synagogue. The food was excellent, the company less so in fact I would seriously consider not going again. Amazed to learn CCJ were meeting at the same time!

To the Jewel house Westminster and Painting with light at Tate Britain and watched the dancers in the Duveen gallery. Fr Quaqoe at Mass. To Big iftar at West London synagogue - lovely food and saw Rabbi Neuberger and met several people.  Played Bliss Royal fanfares (which we had at our wedding!)  Thomas Hewitt Jones  Fanfare for Queen's 90th, Moore Nobilmente and Crown Imperial which was much appreciated as was Lead me Lord. Swam 20 and we both went. Started elephant mosaic as we could not decide on the corners of the border! Qi gung and meditation. To West London synangogue for a moving service including Peter Tatchell and lovely singing. Great to see Michael Redman, Jon dal Din and the nuns. Sat with Stefan Byron. Briefly met Mrs Gryn. The concert by the London International orchestra was good with lovely singing. Most moving was the Schindler's list theme and Nimrod at the end. Lady next to me impressed by my sketching. First woman bishop consecrated in York Minster.

CCJ

Lie-in. We both went to our first meeting at West London synagogue with Rabbi Herman. Canon Peter was there too and we discussed some meetings. There is to be a Kristallnacht 75th commemoration in the Abbey on Nov 10th. Liz went to Harrods and I went to Southwark cathedral to hear Peter wright play the newly restored organ after the water damage. Mendelssohn, Franck, Bach and Messiaen well played. I took scores back to Bromley and to Lakeland. Listened to some Proms and University challenges. Played through the Couperin and some Bach which David gave me.

Interfaith walk

Friday to hospital and fed Grandma. She ate a 3rd of dinner and all the yoghurt but she is not getting enough liquid. She listened to the news headlines I read her and smiled a lot. We finished early and I practised the Mahler before giving the ladies a lift home. Dennis arrived later. Liz was at a slapup catechists dinner. Saturday to the cathedral to serve at 9am Mass with Archbishop Vincent and Bishop John. He was great at welcoming everyone and Fr Christopher described me to him as "Mr Interfaith" which we suppose makes Liz "Mrs Interfaith"! To the West London synagogue for a splendid service with organ and choir (organ sometimes too loud but some fine Mendelssohn and Bach). A lovely bar mitzvah with the family fully involved and 2 baby girls blessed. Lunch there. To ...
