Grandma and Ciarán

Image
Had a short lie-in and it was a busy day as it is half-term. Grandma took a turn for the worse but decided to come home at 8 as tired. Louise and Liz visited. Flo and Tom are due to come on Sunday. To cakes and tea at BBC across road from library to discuss the Arts festival successes. Lady told me I should not retire! Latest photos of Ciarán who is off to Italy for the wedding this weekend!

Arts festival networking

40 lengths and Dan there. Training AL and RA and showed them round the office. I am putting things in writing. To Blend near Town Hall - it's a new wine bar. Chat about Arts festival and Balham. Lady from Wimbledon Art studios was talking about Tennyson and the Isle of Wight. Justine felt the appointment was a recognition of my years of service. I have been at BTP 12 years this 3rd time! Liz had been to see Ciarán preparing to babysit! My photo in library news and Panel of Monastic musicians newsletter.

Interfaith and Wandsworth Arts festival

Tuesday April 28th. In the morning to Eland House opposite Victoria station for the Boroughs interfaith network meeting which was most interesting. Particularly impressed by the 3 faiths forum educational work. Made useful contacts with Board of Jewish deputies and Haringey and Lambeth. In the evening to Rocket riverside Putney for the launch of the Wandsworth Arts festival. Met various artists working with scrap materials and Putney choral society folk who know Sr Stella White. Also the deputy head of Sutton libraries who used to work at Westminster college library! The library has 2 events this time both on the same Saturday May 16th. Good white wine. Liz was at Chiswick rehearsing for their festival performance of Harmoniemesse and saw Louise.
