St Barnabas

Fisher House Mass St Barnabas. Sung Mass at Upper Norwood Corpus Christi where there is usually a carpet of flowers. Tonight I would have been at Caterham for Corpus Christi. This long eucharistic fast is hard to bear but we have faith that it will end.  A delightful Hansel and Gretel from the Met conducted by Vladimir Jurowski with Alice Coote, Rosalind Plowright and Philip Langridge. 2 Father Brown and Andrew Graham-Dixon on Dutch art,  Zoom Faiths together in Croydon agreed on a zoom Black lives matter Faith talks June 22 5 p.m.  Zoom from Yachad about the annexation of the West Bank which is very worrying. Britain's best parents series very interesting.

Tempest

Fisher house mass. Low mass from St John's on zoom. The Temest by Thomas Ades from the Met. Simon Keenleyside as Prospero. Amazing high soprano as Ariel. Great production. Meditation on zoom. Father Brown, come dine with me, illustrated children's books, zoom with the Palestinian  ambassador, repair shop. Sewing bee. Korea handled the crisis so much better than UK did.

Barbara Taylor Brown

Ascension Day mass, art, SLIFG lunch and talk on Ecumenical accompaniment programme in Palestine and Israel. Chat to Fr Adrian. To Lord Ashcroft gallery at Imperial War museum. In the choir for Sung Eucharist at St Paul's Victoria. Annoyed that any attempt to repeat the acclamation of the choir was sabotaged by the organ! Amusing and inspiring talk at St Paul's by Barbara Taylor Brown on Holy Envy teaching students about other faiths. Good to see Alan Rainer. Interesting programme on Victorian decadence in the 90s.
