Jacobite steam train

I was up early and after breakfast headed for the station to get cash and book us on the Jacobite steam train to Mallaig and back. This proved to be a superb day out with stunning views. We saw deer from the train. At Mallaig saw a seal in the harbour and enjoyed kipper and Red Cuillin ale at the Tea Room. There was a gull's nest under the railway line. Surely one of the great railway journeys of the world. Particularly liked see the Bonnie Prince Charlie monument and the viaducts. We walked in the rain to the swimming pool only to find it was happy hour for the kids so abandoned that idea!
