 Nazareth community Richard outside Shakespeare's Globe. Blackfriars. Hurtado Stephen gave an excellent meditation on friendship and 3 forms of love. I was reflecting on school friends and Catenians. Phil Brown and Austin rang about public speaking Sept 2022. Put up brackets on shed for 3 baskets.

Sunday. Mendelssohn Sonata No. 6. The anthems are We cannot measure how you heal and There's a wideness in God's mercy. Good service from Rugby school on radio. Margaret Busby on desert island discs. Zoom chat with a few Caterham folk. Larger congregation was because of baptism. Excellent zoom interfaith service for London climate action week which I chaired. Bishop Karowei was particularly good. Fr Tom did well. Pagan a bit disappointing but everyone kept to time and all went well. Recording posted already. Blackfriars. Bidding room  and Antiques roadshow. 

Monday Blackfriars, SMITF. SPIDIR AGM and talks by Liz Watson. She would have done well to have some visuals. 30 minutes of Colette's meeting - positive stuff from Emma and Edward - 16 environmental leads but still no information about them. Evensong from SMITF. Choral scholars finishing. Asher Oliver playing Bach, Howells and Leighton at Cornhill. Balham circle meeting. Bromley 3 faiths meeting about the repression of the Uyghars. Quite appalling. 

Tuesday SMITF All day schools summit LCAW very interesting. Henry came with helmets and played firemen. He was fine until we got him home and he ran off ignoring Dennis and myself shouting at him. He said he did not understand when I spoke to him about this! Liz got some plants and I collected the cleaned quilt. Tim Harper playing at Ripon Bairstow sonata, Philip Marshall, Whitlock. Blackfriars. Bake off the professionals. Devon and Cornwall.

Wednesday Liz to Guys. SMITF but I tuned out as Sally was at breakneck speed again. Blackfriars more sedate with Fr Bruno. St John's. Good zoom about mental health issues. Wimbledon on. Finished Richard Coles moving account of the loss of his partner. 

Thursday Liz went early to Guys. SMITF, Blackfriars. Linden Innes-Hopkins playing at St Mary Welwyn. Darius Battiwalla playing at Leeds town hall - first part from memory! Prof William Whyte on the Oxford movement and its influence. David Saint and Paul Carr at St Chad's Birmingham.

33 at LSI meeting and some environmental leads!! I recorded Paul's talk. Bible study was chaotic and so many tangents. Kensington Palace programme. 

Friday up late SMITF and Blackfriars. Quite warm. Lots of emails. Piano practice. Wimbledon on. Richard Brasier playing Bach superbly at Upminster. St Edmundsbury cathedral school kids playing well. St Mary Warwick not livestreaming recitals, Wrote to Catena.
