 SM and S. Lovely retreat from the Aventine Rome with Dom Brendan. Meditation. Sion centre Dr Liam Tracey on Holy Week liturgies. Alfred was a pain about Maltese popular piety! Battery replaced in the car £100. Played the piano. Scabs have formed on thumbs and fingers but it is slow progress. Belmont vespers. SMITF Lent group the most challenging so far. 

Thursday woke up late. Enjoyed a shower. To art and we talked about our work. Liz at gym. Churches trust on Italian Renaissance altar pieces. Tai chi - it finishes next week! Good LSi animators discussion. Art and Christianity on film and religion. CAT on pilgrimage. Lord Sugar has Harpreet as his new apprentice. Fr Denis Paul died - a good and kind priest. 

Friday SM and S. Nice chat to Sarah. Soviet music in WWII Gresham lecture. St John's Annunciation Mass Hassler Dixit Maria setting, Victoria Ave Maria. The pro tenor tended to sing flat! Not many there. 

Sat SM on retreat in Essex, S and B. Also Timothy Radcliffe from yesterday! Hurtado on the temptations. Intesresting link to the call of Moses and Mary. Scabs off left thumb. Phone call from Tristan at Caterham school - would I play for their concert on Monday? I agreed but wonder how it will go. To Salvation Army Thornton Heath for the first sustainablity hub. Good to see Ian and others. Karin was there. I did a transport quiz and chatted to the librarian from Upper Norwood. Practised music for Monday. It is annoying that I never got the emails about the vote on "practising" Catholic so missed it!

Back to playing today! Bach Descent from the cross and Fantasia in C minor. We sang Ave Maria by Simon Lindley. Practised for the concert but tried to get somebody else to play as I think a professional should do it. South African women's eucharist just a bit too different for me! Wierd texts and music choices. Repair shop. Just stop oil Carmody Grey talk. Hugely relieved Tom Stockwell will play tomorrow. It makes sense - he needs the money and he's a professional. B.

B. All went well at the concert I believe although Tom said he could see and hear very little! Exactly what worried me! Liz to gym and Clare's . I did reading for Lent group and enjoying latest novel. Univeristy challenge and Mastermind. Gave up on Beckenham meeting as sound and contact went!

Tuesday excellent service memorial for Prince Philip. Lovely to see all the children there. Traditional language. Britten in C Te Deum and 3 hymns. Stanford Sonata Britannica on organ! B. To Reigate and eventually walked around Priory Park which is lovely. Lots of cherry blossom. Good dinner at Reigate manor hotel and no noise from the wedding!

Good breakfast and got petrol £160.9 ! Home via Sutton. Belmont retreat Caelian hill and the mosaics of Rome. S Clemente and S Gregory. Meditation and dealt with emails. Sion centre Debbie Wiseman on Pesach. Elaine and WM group. Smitf 2 of June Boyce-Tillman's hymn texts. Lent group was good and I spoke about interfaith.

Thursday to art and Liz to gym. Good progress on Ukranian painting. Churches Conservation trust lecture did not happen. Cheltenham prayers. Tai chi - last free one with Beko. £3 from next week. Fr Arbo missed the zoom but had a good chat to Sam Baker and he will come to our next zoom. Cooked Hellofresh. CAT on gratitude. Lovely film with Ibrahim Mogra on new Muslim baby and 40 days of family taking over. Also programme on sleep apnoea.

Friday B and S. Lent group 3 of us good chat. RSCM lecture Simon Lole. Bridgerton series 2 no 1. Belmont. Cooked cheesy sea bass - delicious. Olivier Latry playing from memory at Our Lady of Victories - huge Skrahl console. Henry and the family came to say goodbye as they are off to Ireland.

Sat SM at Enfield, B and S. Musical playing from Nataly Ganina at St John's. Schubert, Chopin, Rachmaninoff. Croydon sent my medical records. Cleaned lounge and stair carpet with the replacement cleaner. My new Kindle is good - the old one just gave up! Cooked colcannon mince and cheese pie - delicious. Would I lie to you? Grayson's art club. Moving to the country for half the price.
