 Saturday 24th Nazareth walk with Richard in Green park - gorgeous day lots of blossom. Colette's meeting for a short time. Nazareth community prayer and groups excellent. Lovely day and apple tree next door in blossom. Farewell evensong for Bishop Christopher at Portsmouth, Stanford in G and The spirit of the Lord - heaven! Lots of speeches. Another lovely day. According to my calculations I have been playing the organ for 58 years and I have been at Caterham for 5 (bit hard to count last year really!). And I have been singing in church for 67 years. Went to a zoom about the runup to COP26. If all the different groups do not work together locally and nationally nothing much will be achieved. It would be really helpful to know which banks which should use i.e. the ones which really have green policies! There are so many lies flying around about "zero" carbon, etc.

Bishop John did reply but did not say much! There were some good workshops I missed at the 3 day conference. David Hill playing magnificently at Leeds Town hall. Anthony Gritten at Cornhill. Samuel Bristow playing Mendelssohn at St Paul's. Sat in sunshine in garden and finished The Tablet. The idea of a trip to the Rookery never happened. Tidied up ready for Henry tomorrow. 3 zooms in a row Balham AGM and meeting (sub reduced to £50 this year) Applied theology James and Kevin on Easter, Beckenham AGM and meeting which was too long!
