Tuesday SM Ann rang. Swim and quiet time. Carol service booklet edited. Interesting lecture from Gresham on fossil fuel industry. Bake off won by Georgie!

Thursday to IKEA for cooked breakfast. Saw Paul Moore. To Dunelm to get new lampshades but in the end we got 3 new green lamps for the lounge. To St Mary the Virgin Ewell for Simon Gregory's delightful recital includign accompanying a Sherlock Holmes silent movie and JSB Passacgalia. and delicious tea. Friday to Nationwide to get a statement with our address. To Croydon college for interfaith breakfast. Met Gabriel Copt and lady from Carshalton RC. Bishop spoke well. To UNACC and a free soup lunch which was nice. Watched end of the debate on assisted suicide bill - a bad day for our country. Minutes from last night's meeting. I went to Macbeth at SJ. Just 5 actors and they were brilliant! Great to see Jan, Gail and Nick.
Saturday SM at Chelsham. Jan and Feb music lists done. Watched 3 programmes on Asia and its wildlife also Eiffel tower. To Mass and we were late as there was a match. Man playing organ too slowly and a woman at the back singing even more slowly! Advent 1 and new lectionaries were blessed also young people reading prayers. The reader was dire. Good homily from Fr Steve. Strictly musicals week.
