Hot chocolate at interval as it got cold. Walked to London Bridge and home by 11.45.

At Mass Fr Joseph launched into "What a friend we have in Jesus" then drank from the chalice and sang the last line. Nobody sang. I pointed out to him that RCs do not know this hymn at all. Given that the Helene Kroller-Muller collection has the 2nd largest collection of Van Goghs in the world it’s a bit disappointing that they have leant only one The sower. Pissarro and can Rhysselburge. Fascinating lecture at St Martin’s by Chris Bryant MP about his life before he became an MP. His mother was alcoholic, his father left, he discovered he was gay and became a priest which he said is like being an MP. He left the priesthood.

Met Liz at Victoria but she had changed the plan to an Uber which cost £12. St Mary the Boltons Holland Park opera dementia concert attended by Mayor and Mayoress of Kensington.
