 Friday picked up Liz's trouser suit which had been altered. To CJ. Liz was delayed at the dementia study in Hammersmith so we missed the earlier train. To Catenian province 19 weekend. Journey down 3 hours wait for train incl an hour standing at Waterloo. I was exhausted. On arrival at Winchester Royal hotel by taxi in pouring rain our dinner was ready. Finished at 10.50 having started at 7.30! Saturday Visited the mill and Winchester museum. Excellent evensong at the cathedral. Stanford in C slow. The tenors top A in The heavens are telling! Boys on great form. Buxtehude Toccata. Meals good slow service. Black tie is such a bore and speeches! Skipped the disco. Sung family Mass at St Peter’s. Fr Mark very good. Cab to station and home in 2 hours. Strictly heat.

MOnday Liz to research at Hammersmith. Blue badge renewal done, tried to access Nationwide. Virginia Woolf. Chat to Clare. Usual Monday fare .

Tuesday swim. Good to be back. All Saints supervision session and Chris was there. Went well. Quiet time. Bought cakes. Met Fr Stephen Trafford so sent him the card at last! To the first talk on Nostra aetate at Vaughan House by Prof Michael Barnes. Excellent there are 3 more sessions. The librarians very disturbing film about US school librarians being targetted and even dismissed.

Wed Liz to Hammersmith. Organ practice. Phoned RSC 3 times and each time call ended. Went online and got seats. Spoke at CCA zoom on LSIM. Two Americas programmes. Parkinson.

Thurs Liz to Hammersmith and Staying at Acton. Finished Marc Tiger at art. They liked the lemon drizzle cake. Swim. Lsi meeting on zoom. World's oldest railway. Two short intros to programme about nuclear war one of which BBC did not screen.

Friday woke at 5 up at 10. Cake enjoyed at Unacc. To Halfords to get car mobile phone holder. Pauline gave me one she does not use but could not figure it out!

Saturday SM at Holland Park. Jigsaw of coronation. To All Saints West Dulwich for excellent South East London orchestra concert film music. Pleased to see they are to play A fist full of fives by Adrian Sutton at their May 17th. Draft letter sent to Louise. Strictly.

Sunday at one day's notice drove to Christ Church St Stephen Battersea Park Road where I played in July. No trains. This broke my 30 minute journey rule! Fr Geoffrey was pleased to see me. Wednesday bad night. Short organ practice and swim. Picked up Liz from Lidl. Drafted letter to Abp John. Liz had a webcall about dementia research. Took garden rubbish to Dennis's and Cats. The famous vote but we will not know the result until everybody voted. Bernard replied positively to my suggestion of a talk about angels and I got 2 book suggestions a BBC sounds programme and a website from the brothers. Louise will adjust the letter.
