Let all the world sing.  To Jamyang Buddhist centre for dialogue about universal responsibility which lead to discussion about compassion. Rabbi Nathan, the bishop of Kingston and Geshe Tenzin Namdak Faiths together in Lambeth. I asked a question about educating children to show compassion by example. Nathan mentioned that we are visiting the synagogue. Only connect.

Tuesday Imran was supposed to bring new hubcaps but when I rang up it was his day off. I did not go swimming and gave the porch a thorough clean. Started the 4th Royal jigsaw. Call my bluff, Face the music with Ben Luxon, University challenge. To quiet time and a good turnout. To Farm Street church Mass celebrated Mass and service marking 60 years of Nostra Aetate with Bishop Jim Currie and 7 faiths represented. Great to see so many friends and meet new people.

Wednesday took more books to St Christopher's Hospice shop, practise, popped into Beckenham bookshop, to the tip in pouring rain, swim. Took Liz to Station. Sisters of Sion Debbie Wiseman on Jewish response to Nostra aetate, jigsaw. Pavarotti masterclass. To St Edmunds school Manor Park for Brentwood interfaith celebration of Nostra aetate excellent talk by Fr Aidan Gaffney and an interesting panel. Home by 10.15.

A curate’s egg. Andrew was delayed as 2 trains were cancelled. We got to Wyvern organ late and drove right past the house. Played the large organ. Good lunch at Petworth pub. I missed a turning and went on narrow lanes Tennyson lane through the woods with lovely autumn colours but arrived late at Liss to hear the Wyvern. Took Andrew to Guildford station and then to a lovely evensong at Guildford cathedral. Jacqui Parkinson's tapestries are superb. Awful traffic on the A3 missed Wimbledon meeting and the meal and company were excellent. Mark Potter who we saw on Tuesday told us about interfaith in Woking. Some great photos in the competition and I won 2! Prizes. Faith and family. Out like a light last night!

Friday both to Unacc. Triniti not going to Jamaica because of hurricane Melissa. Took 3 pictures on loan. Clocks had not been put back after a week! Liz to SJ Hallowe'en with her costume. Henry was there - seems he is not coming for inset day on Monday after all! To Orpington and hubcaps now have ties. C and W rang offering colonscopy on a Sunday. I said I am playing the organ that day. Took 45 minutes each way. Watched video about Al Mizan and videos of Rachmaninov and plainchant requiem for Sunday.

Saturday SM at Wimbledon Park - a little disappointing that Maddie said so little about faith! To SJ What a treat! Members of the BBC SO play the string sextet version of Beethoven’s Pastoral symphony at St John the Evangelist Upper Norwood on All Saints Day. Tires now fine. Cleared up garden 3 bags. Ironing. Meditatio centre hosted Ecojustice from the heart zoom LsiM. Composed talk for Lambeth palace. 

Sunday All Saints and All Souls. Sang at St John’s. Dan asked me to sing second tenor in the Rachmaninov which was a new experience. Missa O quam gloriosum Vittoria. Sausage and mash and profiteroles for lunch. All Souls at SJ very different plainchant Latin requiem - quite tricky. Gave Will their photo and he sang well in the evening. We remember so many of the names read out . Antiques roadshow. BBC Welsh orchestra in Hallowe'en outfits to play! Man alive on people cohabiting and not marrying.

Monday chat to Ann. Liz to GP its an infection. Swim and aerobics. Eric still not there - wife is ill. Henry came and did a large canvas of a deer 99 nights - rather scary. Took him home and he invited us for Christmas Eve party. Emptied 3 bags into their green bin. Finished my talk for Wednesday. MIchael Rosen speaking at SM very funny. University challenge, Only connect, Face the music with David Willcocks and Call my bluff.

Tuesday woke 4.30 then 9.15 so no swim. Practised at Beck. Saw Pauline. Webinar Croydon dementia services did not learn anything new. Tea and cake at SJ had missed meditation. Liz's cross was in her bra!First part of zoom on communications useful.

Wed Nov 5 To Vaughan House to collect copies of Nostra aetate and the Farm Street service booklet. The receptionist greeted me as Father and got me a coffee. Uber to Lambeth Palace. We met in the Guard room which has been refurbished. My talk on Nostra aetate went very well. It seems James Holland suggested me! The Archbishop of York is lovely. He sais he is the last Archbishop standing. Ibrahim Mogra and Bishop Lusa spoke really well. Christian Muslim forum at Lambeth Palace. Lots of networking. I listened in to the supervision group on my phone until the battery ran out. Liz at dementia nurse meeting at Nationwide. Pavarotti masterclass. Sir Anthony Hopkins interviewed.
