 Tuesday SMITF, district nurse came and lien is blocked so Liz going to Guys tomorrow. Spidir committee went well and pleased that John Philpott-Howard is taking over as chair. I did not volunteer to be treasurer! Henry and Dennis came and enjoyed the tent in the garden with teddy bears. Also some digging and planting beans. He took Bruce's teddy home on condition he brought it next week! Quiet time and sorted out back bedroom. Mark Jones playing Harris and Willan at King's Lynn. Hustings about saving South Norwood library - impressed by the Green and the Lib Dem. Labour guys say they will not follow the party line but don't believe them! Our Yorkshire farm. 

Wed woke 6.30 and Liz had gone in a hurry! SMITF, Blackfriars, St John's Mass. York Minster evensong with installation of canons. John Thing rang. St Andrew Coulsdon looking for an organist! David Hill playing Howells at Leeds. Meditation and GCCM prayer. Sion centre Shakyh Shomali was excellent on remembering God. London citizens UK mayoral assembly questioning. We were both negative on the Biobank survey. Repair shop and Sewing bee. 

Thursday Timothy Radcliffe at Blackfriars on St Catherine of Siena. SMITF. Diocese of Worcester Church and tourism after Covid and the digital age. Theos tank London results on religion. Excellent SLIFG 22 there Br Sam SSF on Joy very good. Tackling air pollution. Churches trust on a cross on Welsh borders. Boys evensong from Winchester. SMITF Revelation choral music. Belmont Abbey vespers. Gallery prommers. Fr John Hemer on St Joseph. This is my house. Completed consultation on the Govt's proposed immigration bill which is disgusting. 

Friday up late Blackfriars, Liz's first outing  we headed for Oaks Road searching for bluebells and ended up at Coombe Wood gardens which are lovely. Met the Goldings! Their daughter who was in the choir is 40! Tea and blackwell tarts. Coming home Tennyson Road bridge closed by police so traffic jam. Result late for 4 p,m zoom for diocesan reps, Karin  had started another but it was only 30 minutes. Southwark group at 5 and that went well. BBC young musician semi-final very surprised the violinist did not get through but oboe, horn and percussion all excellent. Pianist good but not quite there! Minutes from the meetings.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
