Swam 20. Spent the day on Catenian business and emails about the interfaith group. Laurence Jones is no longer a Catenian - he joined in 1977 - sad really. I managed to get onto the portal and discovered Head office had a very old email address for me - no wonder I have not been receiving circulars! The visit to Hyderi mosque to discuss Sunday's meeting was cancelled. Liz went to servers council but there were too few to meet. Swam 18. To West Norwood to collect repaired coat and cassock which is 30 years old and has a new scarlet lining. Painted still life of 4 bottles at art using my paints. To Notting Hill Dr Shiekh Ramzy gave a very rambling talk on Rumi and we also heard from a student who had been to Palestine. To Royal Academy summer exhibition and it was so much more pleasant than on Friends day. Met Tamar and her aunt. Had salad and tea in Keeper's House. To ENO and sorted out tickets for Pearl Fishers! We sat in dress circle row A at the side. Spectacular production by Terry Gwilliam with some stunning singing especially the chorus and principals. Morgan Pearse made the most of his scene and a spectacular falling death!

Liz went off to Vaughan House. Louise had stayed overnight and went off shopping.  I submitted my Dialogue account and did the reading Michael had given me. Saw Jane and Gary before and afterwards - for once I was able to stay for the tea! Great to have some humour! Then to the first part of Mass which was for new Christians - Alistair sang really badly.
