Swam 20. To Chrism mass always a great occasion. Acolyte 6 and consecration torch 4. All went well but it was a long stand and kneel! Lovely Byrd Ave cerium with pp ending beautifully controlled. The Wellington special exhibition was less crowded but a bit dull. Did a sketch of Frank Dobson head of Sitwell. To Chiswick Park for double session of oil painting and have no done second layer. Not so keen on using my fingers. To Acton Lou in New York, boys have bunk beds. Wed took Sean to Osterley for lunch and soft play. On the way in he spotted Thomas engine ride And that is where I found him after ordering food.

To swim but pool closed because no fire alarm! To see film of King Henry IV part 2 from Stratford. Liz set out with me only to find only one ticket had been purchased so she got off train at Thornton Heath! Sir Anthony Sher was excellent as Falstaff. This is a much darker play than part 1 with a sick and dying king poisoning the country. Home for a meal and then both to the dentist. Metal plate which is very light fitted and 2 more sessions. Have paid. Traffic bad but we got to Selhurst by 6 p.m. We waited 40 minutes for a train to Balham and as a result missed the first 5 minutes of Manon Lescaut from the Opera House. Great singing especially Kaufman and Pappano conducting. The modern setting worked apart from the scene of the shipping of prostitutes to Louisiana unless this was meant as a comment on human trafficking. We got to Acton around 11. Took Seán to music and he really joined in. Had coffee and home for lunch. Liz was at James's. To Osterley garden centre and they enjoyed the soft play and we had tea and then to Osterley park where Ciaran rode his bike really well and we played with the football. C had a sulk about that until S got him to play! Pop music being tested for sound - most annoying!  Ice creams all round and I bought Liz a second hand book about WWII. Amazed to meet John and Ann Alexander on the Clapham Junction bridge! We will meet up next week. To Thornton Heath hustings which were poorly attended and no Conservative candidate! The independent and Green impressed me as did the sitting Labour councillor but the Lib Dem did not impress - very vague! UKIP are crazy - you can't freeze council tax and cut business rates - it won't work! Took Ciaran to school with Liz. Took Sean to John Perryn centre but the music lady was held up in traffic. They did play time - sad that the other mums did not chat - clearly many of them had minimal English! Picked up Liz and Ciaran and we went for lunch at Osterley garden centre where there is soft play. Ciaran fell asleep on way back so missed swimming. Liz went to fire brigade carols at the cathedral.
