OK I know we live in Croydon but I do go to lots of Faiths together in Lambeth and South London interfaith group events! Really enjoyed singing the South African song and we raised the roof in Amazing Grace. The young people and police and fire brigade cadets were most impressive.. Steve Chalke challenged us "Who are you? Why are you here?". Lovely cello playing and some good singing too! Nice reception at the Mudlark and networked - might get two speakers out of it!

Woke in the night so did not get up for swim. Very cold and snow flurries. Mosaic and finished latest project. I need some grout for Seán's mosaic - a few tiny gaps. Tai chi. Did some dissertation research on Google scholar. I got 56 for my Dupuis essay which is fine as I did not think it was that good. To St John's and we were joined by the excellent choir from St Peter Great Berkhampstead and 60 of that congregation. Fr John very affable and Bishop Christopher was on good form. We sang Vierne Messe solenelle and I give you a new commandment by Peter Nadrone. Chris Moore was there and chatted to the vicar of St Alban's and St Luke's Woodside.

Watched semifinal of Young musician last night -lovely cellist, recorder excellent and felt sorry for the percussionist. Nice to see Kevin Hathaway on screen. Played Henry G Ley on Down Ampney which I played at Keble college yesterday and Dubois Toccata. Choir sang well - Barry's introit and he was there to hear it, Rutter The Lord bless you and keep you, Locus iste. Tony sang bass. Janet gave me a lovely framed portraits of composers. Molly gave me a musical pen. Met the Bishop of Southwark and said would see him at St John's lunch. To Mass at Purley and asked David Palmer about torch relay bus.
