Victoria Falls 2

Took tablet 2 a.m. Emails. Up early and walked to the Falls. "Guide" 200 wanted more. Got wet crossing bridge but had rain macs Knifeedge bridge, fantastic views and rainbow. Unimpressed by Livingstone statue. Breakfast after we had changed and everything dried out by the time we left. To clinic £70. Doctor joked about sharpening his scalpel. Paid and pointed out a couple of faults electric plug and manager came straight away. Booked assistance the whole way. Must try and elevate leg and watch out for pins and needles. Packed and last minute search for locks. Tip to dancers for photos. Coach to airport K100 to porter so all Zambian money gone. Liz bought a lovely crib. 50 minute wait. Wrong seats on main flight back to Heathrow but in fact it was better being in the middle as I could stretch across 2 seats. Safely home best holiday ever. Glad to say leg cleared up thanks to treatment.

To SOAS Brunei gallery to see the Zoroastrian exhibition - some very fine things but poorly displayed. Hard to read the captions on the glass cases, excellent videos but nowhere to sit and watch them. The washing ritual was fascinating. Interesting display about David Livingstone.  Tea at Pret and then Louise joined us at the lovely Gate cinema to see Philhomena. A moving and funny film which made you think. Dame Judy Dench and Steve Coogan were outstanding. To Acton. Wednesday Ciaran to school in Louise's car - funny driving it again after all these years! I took Sean to music and a good turnout.
