Okavango day 2

7/6 6 a.m. Nice breakfast at the camp fire tomorrow I am having porridge! Red lechwe, plover, weaver birds,hippos running, tsessebe, white faced duck, Guinea fowl chicks, sausage tree, rain tree, fish eagles, 2 lioness, bateleur eagle, termite hill, daggers, poison apple where we stopped for tea, baboons, lilac roller, squirrel, storks, White egret, pied kingfisher, roller, glossy starlings, loads of hornbills, giraffe drinking, reedbuck running, elephant, lots of giraffe. 15 lions resting and setting off to hunt at sunset, pelican.

Lent group

Set out the black sheet in the garden ready for more stones. Chatted to David up the road and little Katy - amazing how he climbs over their fence and walks about in bare feet. He will take some of our sawn up tree for his garden. To Wandsworth Unison AGM which was not quorate. Saw Tanya and Sam outside Victoria station - Sam used to go to Newton prep and now goes to Heathbrook school. Watched programmes on the baroque and the Okavango flood.
