In between I picked up scores at Central music library, lunched at Cóte and visited the RGS environmental photographic exhibition and walked to the Serpentine. A wonderful talk by Eva Scholl step-sister of Anne Frank on surviving Auschwitz and what needs to be done now to combat racism and discrimination. She defended Ken Livingstone and spoke about the Palestinians. Liz slipped and graxed her elbow outside West Norwood station and I seem to have dropped my new right hand hearing aid on the bus last night. It was annoying me again and I took it out and put it in my back pocket. Parked at Kent House because of the strike but in fact our lines were unaffected as far as we could see!

It seems some people have moaned about him to the patrons who come nowhere near the church so the Bishop has decided to move him without any consultation! It's a disgrace. He says he goes to St James - he looks very pale and his foot is still in plaster. I think he had been to get the service sheet to see if Paul had announced it there (he hadn’t). I reckon he has worked with the awful treasurer John Williams to complain to the patrons. Paul announced it at the end of the service and he told me the Bishop had not been in touch with him at all. He will be at Foots Cray. I know his wife works and I’ve no idea what the housing is like. He has worked really hard and what worries me is only 18 at a family service today and no children. Got up in the night to take Ibuprofen as left ankle hurting and bottom teeth twinges. Swam 20 and we both went  -the woman with the hand paddles annoyed Liz - she is very inconsiderate to other swimmers. BBC coverage from Auschwitz. Drove to Swanley for Catenian provincial council. Luis has vacated all positions so  Fergus of Maidstone stepped up to become Provincial President in April and I offered to be Vice-President as there will not be a provincial weekend this year. It was agreed to say a prayer for the Pope although the original email is probably a scam. It was all quite light-hearted. Drove to Selhurst and in an hour I was at Acton 11.15. Wednesday to Tamar's and Seán was much more interested and liked the train song and animals song. He recognised the maraca. He can be quite naughty and did not sleep all day. Ciaran seemed a bit off colour and came home from Isobel's. Watched Wolf Hall, Up the women and Starkey on Magna carta. 

Finished 3 articles on scriptural reasoning and Comparative Theology  - I think SR should be followed up. Listened to choral evensong featuring Purcell from Durham and Songs of praise from St David's cathedral. Second new toilet seat installed. Moving programme from Auschwitz about music in the camps.
