Canadian wild life, Jasper
The advantage of the coach over the train is we can stop to look at wild animals and great excitement over 2 wolves, 2 bears, elk and bighorn sheep. This enthusiasm wore off after a bit as a really good camera was often needed. However the scenery is fantastic. Breakfast at The Keg - smashing buffet. Lake Louise beautiful. Lake Peyto also very blue and some snow at the view site. Lunch at Saskatchewan crossing. Atahabasca glacier on the snow - I felt this was being exploited for tourism. These glaciers are all receding and our ecology depends on them. To Jasper and slept a lot. Internet in hotel foyer so sent emails. Dinner at The Inn. Liz had red snapper and mango teardrop. We found it cheaper to eat out form the posh hotels we were staying in.Breakfast at The Inn. To Lake Maligne - saw coyote and bighorn sheep.
