I went to the pool but had to get out as my left forearm was hurting again. The sauna helped a bit. I tripped on Sunday on steps and I may have sprained it as I went forward. Cardinal Bea lecture at Sisters of Sion was excellent. Fr Peter Cullen and Debbie Weismann chaired by Canon John O'Toole.

Mass and Henry played very happily eating an orange. To Penge congregational for a light-hearted programme on the fine Lewis organ. 30 there Penge festival. To Acton. Library backlog now only 3 shelves! Michael Dorey excellent on doubting Thomas at Hinsley room only 8 there. To Natural history museum fab wildlife photographer of the year. St Stephen's Gloucester Road fine art especially Sarah Bryant. English Baroque choir were rehearsing. To Sisters of Sion for Cardinal Bea lecture which was very interesting. Fr Andrew Gadney and Jonathan Gorsky excellent on Divinu Afllente Spiritu. Archbishop Kevin, John O'Toole, Rabbi Mark, Michael Barnes, William Rhind. Harriet Crabtree told me my emails were going to spam and use Mailchimp. 

Woke up late again - have not had a swim this week. Sean is gaining weight! To Hinsley Room for the whole of the spirituality day and great to be back! Michael Dorey did a lovely meditation on the vine and the branches and we ate the grapes on display at lunchtime! Cathedral closed for filming with Kenneth Branagh. Saw Anton in St Paul's and bought cards. He put up Sharing Eden poster and I took one to Church House bookshop. I shared Brian Wren's "I come with joy, a child of God". Crozier for Archbishop Vincent at Mass for Society of St Barnabas - not many of them. Paul M actually greeted me! They support Anglicans wanting to become Catholic priests. I wonder who supports priests going the other way? The Catholic church behaves really badly to such people - they become "persona non grata" and forgotten. Hardly very Christian! Liz went to RCIA group for her course and enjoyed it. Watched Citizen Khan which is hilarious, University Challenge and a bumper Come...

A whole week to catch up on! Tuesday to RSCM Southwark committee meeting at Adrian's. Nigel Groome was there and there was much discussion about events and syllabus. Wednesday to Spirituality day with Michael Dorey on the Blessed are the poor. A welcome opportunity to enjoy some quiet in the sunshine. I liked the meditation he gave us on the Eucharist and foot washing. I decided not to go to the Friends of the cathedral AGM and we watched "The Apprentice". Thursday to the last of the Cardinal's lectures and the Cardinal was on great form. Baroness Scotland chaired. I sat with Jennie Mitchener who gave me a lift home from West Norwood which was great. Friday to practice and we had a discussion about getting more members as Karen had produced a poster. We started work on the 3 part canticles. To Croydon PC for compline - "I will lift up my eyes" by Ernest Walker and Sumsion Nunc dimittis.Saw Tony Trent.
