Mass, art at St Stephen Norbury (nice that Julie came) and voted. It is a right pain that we have to go over the hill to do so. Excellent Christmas meal at Langley Park golf club Beckenham circle most enjoyable. What a depressing prospect. Brexit and Boris. Climate change not addressed. We need proportional representation. One Green MP is not enough and so few Lib Dems. Scotland demanding to break away. The editors of newspapers who advocated Brexit have done this to our country. Who will do the jobs when so many leave? The Tories care only about money. At least Corbyn stuck to his principles even if some of them were wrong. Mass, a delightful lunch at Rosemary's and the house is transformed. Sang with Welcome choir at Lmp concert at St John's. It was fun!  A varied programme with good soloists. 

Grandsons happily settled in and doing drawing. I enjoyed the London Mozart Players 4 cellos coffee concert very much and did some sketching. Advent 1 and the youngest server lit the first candle on the wreath. McDonalds before Mass and the boys sat with Lourdes. Michael was cantor. 

A quiet morning and the talks prepared for August 1. Listening to lovely evensong from Rugby school including Hear my prayer. Phoned for assistance on both flights. Cut out poppies 4 to a sheet of red felt so I have 2 spare buttons! Conducted London Mozart players at Centrale Croydon. Pizzicato polka went well! An hour at the Lambeth country show on the interfaith Stand which was in a more prominent spot next to the ice cream van! Hot! Truth is it is an ordeal! The crowds at the crossing to the station! Superb singing of Amy Saunders, Rheinberger and Paul Patterson from Nottingham cathedral choir and Fr Thomas. We heard them at Simon Gillespie's ordination. Listening to the Prom on phone on train many interruptions. Trying to follow the score of Sinfonia da Requiem was awful. Good thing I did not plan to go to the Prom as there was an appeal from Missionary sisters which went on far too long although she got a round of applause! Hilarious tribute to Victoria Wood. To Crystal Palace Festival. The sign posting from the station is useless so I followed 2 sheep! Sang the new Anthem for peace with Katie Rose and the Crystal Palace Transition town choir. Met Jill a friend of London Mozart players. The Anthem for peace by Richard M. Brown words by Shaniqua Benjamin.Blink theatre are impressive and full participation by the disabled. John Grindrod and Travis Elborough author event about parks and brutalism. Interesting. Pity about the music nearby. Lunch at Crystal Palace station cafe and enjoyed 3 London Mozart players wind players in the concourse. Battersea Park peace pagoda prayers for peace. David there. Bruce Kent and Sikh friend still going strong. Habib and Jon dal Din there. Found John Johnson's bench. Vespers and Mass with Fr John. Liz back from Northampton servers Mass. 

First the crisis with the cleaner and the comments after choral evensong on Sunday, then having to cancel to talk on dementia awareness in November and great unhappiness over that, then Sheikh Ramzy cancels October 18th talk so woe! Trying to get another speaker. On the plus side encouragment at Belmont from the group and George, a kind email from Philip explaining things in a better way and now this morning a delightful coffee and cake concert by the London Mozart Players sextet at St John's. Mozart Divertimento and Tchaikovsky Souvenir de Florence what a joy and a large audience. The wit and the passing of melodies from cello to violin - a delight. Nancy is 93. Ian is coming tomorrow and so is Fr Andrew. Hovering around 30/40 at the moment. We got home at 6.45 last night and I collected Bruce at 9.45 at East Croydon - great to have him home. He has gone to Louise's. Collected the cake from Alena in Tooting and it is a triumph!  German choir from Bernkastel at Mass sang Pales...

 After lunch to St John's for London Mozart players inaugural concert there. 600 including loads of kids who mostly behaved well - lots of Dulwich mums showing off. Mozart, Grainger, Vivaldi 2 trumpets, Handel and Copland encore. Bought a calendar. Liz helped with teas. Chatted to a violinist, Janet Marshall and Wayne now Mayor with his consort - says he is a Catholic boy. Watched Poldark and Antiques roadshow. Liz watched Aberfan cantata. Trip Advisor comments. Monday mosaic and painted tiles to be fired, qi'gong 7 there. Tate Modern Wiferdo Lam all the same very heavy Picasso influence. BSO and much better - good tutor manipulated my knee well. Daniel Moult on Big sing from Songs of Praise. To Beckenham official visit Thomas More well received and  they liked the bagpiper joke very much,
