Both essays are done! Michael was very encouraging and I have improved the dialogue one a lot under his guidance. He remarked 'You don't want to spend (waste!) any more time on the Buddhist Christian one do you?' I think I will wait to submit until after meeting Lindy on Friday morning just in case an 'Anglican Buddhist' gives some useful insights! 

Woke at 4.30 feeling thirsty and a bit  of a headache probably from the wine last night. Got up and did emails and posted Face book pictures. Finished draft of dialogue essay and sent it to Michael Barnes - not happy with the ending at all. I seem to have run out of steam with it. Back to bed and sorted magazines. Here is Bruce making wooden beds for the back garden!

On 8 February I went to a fascinating study evening at Heythrop College organised by the Association of Heythrop Alumni and advertised in The Tablet. Dr Jonathan Gorsky and Dr Mohammad Shomali spoke about "interreligious dialogue from our own perspective". It was wonderful to hear Jew, Muslim and Christians all sharing their common heritage and how much we had in common. It was stated that the best way to do interfaith work is to get to know one community and a graduate student spoke of his love for the Suni community which he had not previously known.
