Saturday

 Nazareth community Richard outside Shakespeare's Globe. Blackfriars. Hurtado Stephen gave an excellent meditation on friendship and 3 forms of love. I was reflecting on school friends and Catenians. Phil Brown and Austin rang about public speaking Sept 2022. Put up brackets on shed for 3 baskets.  Watched Call my agent X 2.   Sunday. Mendelssohn Sonata No. 6. The anthems are We cannot measure how you heal and There's a wideness in God's mercy. Good service from Rugby school on radio. Margaret Busby on desert island discs. Zoom chat with a few Caterham folk. Larger congregation was because of baptism. Excellent zoom interfaith service for London climate action week which I chaired. Bishop Karowei was particularly good. Doctor.

SMITF morning song. Actually saw a doctor face to face a very nice locum. He is prescribing antifungal tablets for my leg as the antibiotics did not clear it. He also looked at the bruises from my fall. I am not telling Dennis as he will fuss! I was putting the bins out and literally fell over my feet ended up on my bottom which is bruised and scraped my left shoulder. He says the shoulder is a muscle thing and keep an eye on it. Got my blood test form for July so no alcohol until then! To Fenton's garden centre Wallington and bought lots of nice flowers including some for the bees. I cooked chicken and plum noodle stir-fry with Bok-Choy.  LCAW workshop Faith for the climate 17 there. Imam Razawi spoke well and acknowledged Islamic nations role in pollution and climate destruction. Nice chat to Barbara J and P Southwark. To St John's for delightful piano and 4 winds Mozart and Beethoven. 

Father's day

 Played Boellmann Suite gothique and we sang Be still my soul and St Andrew's hymn. I did not attempt the toccata but had a first go at Howells Psalm Prelude Set 1 no 1 often played by Dad. To lunch at Faber Fox Westow Street - parked outside! The food was reasonable but not outstanding. We sat in the garden but saw a rat twice which appeared unbothered by so many people and 2 dogs. Unimpressed that Darren is now refusing to pay towards the removal of rubbish because his mess was not taken. Everybody else paid. Bruce rang. Ashley Grote playing well at St Edmundsbury.  Monday SMITF and Blackfriars. Colette's meeting. Seems Portsmouth and Southwark now have environmental leads. Why is this kept a secret?  Friday up late. St Barnabas but RCs Sacred Heart. Bacon and egg. Heated discussion about diet. No alcohol for a month. Cut out chocolates and cakes and especially biscuits! 21 day turnaround confirmed more exercise!! SMITF morning song. Blackfriars. 30 minutes seated exercises. Excellent trumpeters at St Edmundsbury and St Mary Warwick. Very hot in garden. Southwark group zoom. Donal McCann playing at Gonville and Caius. Muhly, David Pipe playing at Leeds Town hall. Interesting lecture on Salford cathedral and first part of lecture on Liverpool metropolitan cathedral.  Saturday up late Nazareth community walk Battersea Park, St John's, end of Mass from Fulham, Guild of St Stephen AGM. Michael is so boring! Watched the trooping at Windsor. Dennis has fractured his finger. Wrote article about the conference - Sr Marie Grogan sent me 46 pages of notes! Interesting recital by David Houlder at Leeds Minster.  Woke at 6 listened to St Chad's recital, Blackfriars, SMITF morning song, Interviewed Diana Mills. Did cartoon of environmental lead. Isabella Abbot Parker singing at St Mary Warwick. John Sherwood's funeral livestreamed Lovely singing of O for the wings. Lark ascending and Thou knowest Lord.  2 hour expedition with Dennis to get car seats fixed and got new rear wiper blade fixed. Rain. Ben Nicholas playing at Gonville and Caius Buxtehude, Vierne, Bach. Richard Brasier playing Bach at St Laurence Upminster. Leeds minster recital Ives and Walker. Bruce Parry in Siberian Arctic. Would I lie to you? Sat, Woke at 6 and back to sleep. Nazareth community lovely walk to Lindisfarne. Blackfriars. St John's St Boniface Mass for Paul Johnson.
