Nice cafe Conran kitchen. Rosemary Shaw is on SPIDIR committee with me a lovely surprise to see her in Oxo gallery exhibition on women priests, also vicar from Tooting who as at iftar last week. Met Dale Eaton at Globe Swan showcase very nice and enjoyed chat over tea. Champagne and canapes. Osterley 100th meeting very enjoyable evening and a substantial meal. Came back with Croydon brothers home at 12.15 in taxi.

To Mass in rain, Liz saw nurse about her hand - she fell outside school. 2 mosaics finished and we now have a break until June while some go to Corfu. Finished 2 small mosaics and chose Van Gogh for next project in June. Bravo Peter King at St Michael Cornhill cheering up a wet day with a varied programme. An enjoyable evening at Duke's Hall Royal Academy of Music. 6 excellent organists competing for the Dorothy Cooper prize won by James Orford. Thomas Trotter adjudicating. Well done Marko Sever and Michael Butterfield and great to see Paddy Russill and meet the South African Hannes Ebersohn. Andrzej Malitowski and Jamie Rogers also impressed. It is so important to play expressively and not just fast and loud.

Upearly, swam, Mass, hearing aids retubed at AgeUK, Henry came. Bravo Marko Sever playing Bach, Handel and Mozart brilliantly at St George Hanover Square. More importantly the music came over so well. As Dame Gillian Weir remarked "anyone can play loud and fast but can they make music?". Tate Britain All too human especially the films outside the exhibition. Freud splendid and Paula Rego a real discovery for me. Celia Paul and Cecily Brown impressive but Bacon less so. Enjoyed Michael Portillo Indian railways including Amristar, Chandigarth and Shimla. Grand Irish hotel Ashford Castle. 

Excellent morning at RFH as part of St Alban's organ festival. Saw Matthew Martin. Attractive work by him for trumpet and organ. Lovely Angelus by Vierne. Rheinberger violin and organ. Cochereau Bolero organ and side drum played by Marko Sever. Well done all especially Joseph Beech and James Orford. People power at Imperial War museum excellent.   S ent letter to The Tablet as Rick Jones did not know what Levit's encore was so told him to check BBC proms website. Critics!  An excellent appeal for Aid to the Church in need at the cathedral Mass. Presented Joseph with his 18th birthday card and present. Listening to prom on way home. Reckoned I would be late at the hall and not get in for the Strauss Actually the Beethoven 3 chat was first. Skype to Liz in Lourdes. Listened to prom from Hull.

Power washed the patio but need to do it again. Daniel Moult stunning playing at Bromley parish church.I liked the move from Liszt to Piece heroique. Bach, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Elgar, Hollins and Ronald Corp made for a delightful programme.  Cleaned patio again and the front path. Had fun making spirals in the green stuff on shed and fences - could this catch on at Chelsea? Our shed has not looked like this for years!. Now knackered so second shower of the day Earl Grey tea and Antiques Roadshow! At Southwark cathedral refectory you will find paintings by  Adam Boulter  and poems by Malcolm Guite. Who would buy them Adam? Resurrection is lovely but £1200?  Marko Sever from Sydney played Dorian and L'Ascension at St Lawrence Jewry.
