Lovely Requiem Mass for deceased priests. The choir sang Brahms and Byrd. Nice chat to David. Delicious lamb at Acton and watched Prince Charles. Ciarán's year 5 assembly about remembrance was very moving. Well done all! Pity it was so difficult to hear some of the children. Nelson varnished all the oil paintings and icons and they look stunning. Lovely lunch and we both enjoyed Rembrandt at Dulwich gallery and tea! Liz went to see Gillian in Acton. To choir practice and Liz was unimpressed not to be doing the solo in Darke in F. 3 tenors. 

St John's day at Caterham. Played Campbell on Grafton as we sang "Word supreme" Rowley Christmas suite and John Cook Paean on Divinum mysterium. No drinks at vicarage as their son-in-law is dying. Bought art materials at The Works. Lunch at The Kerala delicious so avoiding the football match at home. Arrived at Selhurst at just the right time to avoid the worst of the football crowds and get parked at home. Enjoyed Merton college evensong. Well done Benjamin Nicholas and Tom Featherstonhaugh and Alex Little. Interested to note Christmas cards for Son and Son-in-law, Daughter and Daughter-in-law. Listening to Sunday worship - not my musical style at all but excellent contributions from Dominic Robinson and Sarah Teather. Have managed to read the Christmas Tablet online as the postman has again not delivered it but the crossword is impossible on screen. Liz off early to go to a medical interview about an alzheimer's study but her medication means she cannot take part. Swam, Mass, art and worked on Lourdes painting. Tuesday All Saints day we drove to Eastbourne for Ron's funeral. Great to see old friends again - we seldom see them. Richard thomas conducted Cast thy burden and Bgoroditse and all went well. The reception at the hotel was nice and lovely to see Ron's photos, Beethoven 9 score and album. Barbara has many more and she needs help identifying when the photos were taken. Lovely ones with Prince Charles. We went on A22 and came back on the M23. Tea and then set off for painting. I was late as train cancelled and first train to Richmond full. Had trouble mixing colours. Watched first Gareth Malone programme searching for best choir in Britain. Wednesday took Sean to Kew to see The Hive and had lunch. Had torubel getting him out of the playground and he wanted a toy but I said No. Picked up Ciaran and Liz went to the parents information meeting. 90 minutes to get home. Phoned Jill which was helpful. 

Swam 22. Mosaic and worked on the elephant and traced the design which Linda had completed. Bought a new frame which I brought home to paint in acrylic. To the dentist and need 2 crowns so have penicillin to take. Watched Songs of Praise featuring the Prince of Wales on persecution of faith minorities. To Maidstone circle meeting and met Fergus and Brendan to discuss the coming year. Gave Vincent Spink and Bernard Gillespey a lift home. Watched University challenge.
