 Wed to Nature in art. Loved it glorious sculptures and art. British wildlife photo awards. Did not realise fox hunting is still going on! Met Simon Williams artist in residence and saw kids painting. Coffee and cake. To Stephen’s recital at Upton upon Severn lovely programme. Met his Mum and Grace who does wonderful work with a widows club and looking after carers. She deputises for organists. Give her the Royal Maundy. Played the organ. To Odda’s chapel and Deerhurst priory to play the organ - heavy action. Lots of Anglo-Saxon sculptures and memorial door for George Butterworth. Evensong at Gloucester cathedral with a fine choir from Hamburg. Lloyd Webber in E minor. Organist from Bristol battling with an Allen.nice chat to Dean Andrew Zhini who used to be at Southwark. Knows John and Rachael. Rain so ate at air bnb. Spelling Bee won by Luke. Pascha was my choice. Woke at midnight and 6.45.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
