The boys sang Jeremy de Satge's Westminster Mass which used the chimes but it didn't really work very well. Hurford's Litany was beautifully sung. I dashed to St Paul's Knightsbridge for free BBC singers live concert of early music conducted by Andrew Carwood. It was unremittingly loud, Cornysh, Taverner, Eton choral book. Nicest piece was by Lambe. Buses to Acton.Interestng thought that the decorated panels in the church obscure the true subject just as the overdecorated lines obscure the text.
