Father of the bride





What a wonderful day! Louise was in our room at 7a.m. trying on Mum's special hat.I drove with Bruce and Dennis to Alexander's the barber in Hammersmith. This took rather a long time. I had my first ever wet shave with haircut, hot towels and cut throat razor. What a good way to start the day! Tom had suggested this. We then delivered music, tape recorder and candles to the church where we met Adrian Adams. As time was moving on Dennis returned to the church by mini-cab. Lyn and Rosemary were bringing Grandma from the hospital and were very held up by traffic so in the end everyone went on the bus. When I first saw Louise in her wonderful dress, she just said "Don't cry Dad". She was stunning.
We enjoyed the opentop Lagonda (green of course) and it felt like royalty waving to everyone!

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
