Cleaned hoover - no wonder it was not picking up stuff. Hymns for Sunday. We had lemon and blueberry pancakes.

Ash Wednesday Lovely service at St John Waterloo before the No Faith in fossil fuels 24 hour vigil outside the Department of Energy and Net Zero. I liked the Margaret Rizza items - good tenor parts. We enjoyed lunch at Central Methodist Hall cafe with the animators. A rare chance to meet up! Lovely Ash Wednesday Mass at St John the Evangelist, Upper Norwood Byrd 4 part mass, Purcell Miserere, Morley Nolo mortem peccatoris, Be still my soul to Finlandia. I hit some good top Gs and Aflats!

Thursday a bad start to the day. Bruce was here overnight. We sent the letter from Safeguarding to Louise and spoke to her in the afternoon. Took Liz to Dulwich for the dyslexia course. Art and started giraffe painting which cheered me up. Delighted to find Barbara back for aerobics and had a nice chat after the class. She had enjoyed Thailand. Morgana is too fast and too loud and her music is awful. Swim. I went to find Croydon art space - seems you have to book. Climbing Burghley house. Apprentice went to Turkey and Jonny should not have been fired. Crufts.

Friday a bad night hardly surprising after yesterday's news. Unacc and Liz came in time for lunch. 12 at the class! To Secret garden for compost and plants then to Beckenham Methodist where I practised for an hour. David popped in. Liz went to Marks and we had tea at the deli. I went along to Beckenham bookshop and met a Beckenham circle wife whose husband has dementia. Spoke to Clare. Father Brown, Would I lie to you? Crufts.

Saturday an interesting day. To Croydon Art Space and met Paul who showed me the th abstract art. A useful contact. Sat in the sun and had lunch and then cleared up back garden picking up twigs, leaves and bits of branch. 3 bags full. Spoke to Louise who had spoken to Natalie. To Croydon Gurdwara for International Women's day event.Nice food. It was a tad too long but the children did well and a lady spoke very passionately. We left before the service and got the 468 back.
