Lots of lovely goodies from Bruce Woodhouse including operas and scarf and arty socks. Splendid singing from Croydon Minster at Midnight Mass. Well done all especially Ronnie Krippner and Tom Little! So good to see young people singing so well at Bradford and Croydon. The tradition will continue! How appropriate to have Fr Angel and David Pipe playing the organ. Check out St Joseph's Bradford on BBC I player Christmas Day Mass for some great singing. The Mozart and Rutter are terrific and stunning descant. We'll done everyone! If Leeds diocese can run so many youth choirs why not others? Bravo St George's cathedral Southwark! Bethlehem down very good. Did not like descant for Hark the herald! Lovely to hear John Wilson. I have got 3 operas from Glyndebourne from Bruce to watch!! After this morning's angry shock to Kennington Park to discuss with Shereen Lincoln. Park looking lovely. To All Saints Upper Norwood for Art and Spirituality - I loved the icon but not happy about an artist who calls a yellow canvas "The Holy Spirit"!  Martin and Duncan there. To Fairfield Hall for Organ Fest organised by Andrew Scott  with Adrian Adams, Tom Little and Joe Matthews. Free and a good turnout. Chatted on bus to Jenny Hassell and saw friends from the Proms. Maybe one day I will get to play that organ! But the hall is closed for 2 years and the Council are not to be trusted.

DVD of tai chi is American so will have to be changed. Followed CD of MacMillan for a bit but it is just note bashing! Gill came to see Ciarán. I just missed a 75 bus but in fact got to St Laurence Catford just after 11. Tom Little organ scholar at Southwark cathedral played Dupre, Bach, Walton Suite from Henry V and Harris Flourish for an occasion. A fine player. After coffee played Sumsion cradle song and Moore Light of the nations. About 30 at recital. To Goose on the Green pub for fish and chips and Green King bitter. Had a great chat to Peter and James Perkins. He is horn player in Royal artillery band and going to RCM. He is organ scholar at St Laurence. Dorio gave a lift to St Andrew Catford. This has a fine Hunter 3 manual in a very wide Gothic church. Warmly welcomed by Susanna and Keith Bloomfield who demonstrated.
