The organist librarian

A really good meeting at Farm Street about the exhibition. Tredici sang very well at St Giles in the Fields. Nelson Ferreira took me to British Museum Troy (poorly curated) and the Orient which was lovely. Some beautiful paintings by unknowns and a superb Roman fresco. Latte and delicious sfogliatelle in Russell Square. Feeling very happy I really enjoy our chats. Really enjoyed choir with Richard and extra singers joined us for the carol services.

Swam, Mass, Liz back from Acton after 3 nights away, Henry came to play. He is standing well and trying the stairs!  Tredici sang well at St Giles and interesting to hear Ola Gjelo and Gretchaninov. Nice to see Philip and James. Nice walk up Lamb's Conduit Street to Foundling museum to see Thomas Hardmore's paintings and original scores of the Water music. Delicious cake and tea in the cafe. To St John's practice as I will be there tomorrow, Sunday evening and Advent carols. 

After Mass to St James Piccadilly for Tredici 10th anniversary concert. Sat with Jill from Conversations for the soul! Unfortunately the 2 soprano soloists were the ones using the hard shrill tone which spoilt the overall sound. John was in the tenors. Mike the bass spoke to me at interval.
