Ann and Paul picked us up at 9.30 and we drove to the zoo which is much improved. Saw platypus swimming, bilby, phalangalore, echidna, mice, birds, elephants, giraffes, squirrel monkeys closed, seals, took cable car back to top. To Balmoral beach for a cooling swim a lovely spot. Bought wine and ale and a sketchbook and pencils so did some sketches. Mark left for Melbourne. Hot and sunny. Ann beat me at Scrabble.
