Safeguarding

A most interesting day at Trinity House on safeguarding for spiritual directors. Regrettably the Signposts course is cancelled. I did attend Mass in Polish followed by rosary and benediction at the Polish church in South Norwood. The unaccompanied singing was impressive. Adrian sang the psalm beautifully and the priest was very friendly. Liz went to Mass. Watched University challenge and The Apprentice.

Catenians

Henry came and played. To quiet time. Worked on Catenian Facebook site for Dulwich Catenians and invites to Signposts. Interesting programme on modern Indian music and the Mughals. Bake off professionals. Started reading about Iceland.

Dying

Both to Mass. Cleaned the lounge carpet. Sent scans of Signposts. Many thanks to Nelson Ferreira for the fab Dior exhibition at V and A and such a lovely chat over coffee and lemon tart. Loved it. Excellent meeting with Revd Robert Reiss on death and assisted dying. An excellent and balanced conversation. Next time we need to talk about life after death. It was wonderful to have two Hindus with us. Then went on to Conversations in Croydon on preparing to die well which was fascinating and I now have copies of the pack.
