Swam 20. To art and the 2 pictures are finished. Left early to get to Acton for Ciaran's Year 2 Nativity. he spoke so clearly and James was good too. They sang well. I helpeds et out the PTA tea with Louise.  Home in time to change and drive to Bernard's in Bromley for lift with Vincent to Sevenoaks/South London joint. Presented Vincent with the scroll which took him by surprise. Excellent turkey and strudel and we sang carols including 12 days with actions in groups! Liz enjoyed Olive's 100th. I posted the card she left behind! Home at 11.45.

To Kent House. Unfortunately got off at Bromley South where I should have changed at Orpington. Anyway Brendan met me at Sevenoaks station in his BMW and we picked up Fergus (very grand house). Visited Oakwood House (lovely but expensive) Village (not so nice) Holiday Inn (disappointing) and finally Darenth Valley Golf club and his will be a good venue for a St George's Provincial Gala Dinner and Dance. Menu  Butternut Soup, Lamb noisettes, two desserts and cheese. Brendan will also book the Heartbeats. It was a miserable day so came home and had a rest watching Picasso programme - my tooth was bothering me. I went to Bloomsbury Baptist to hear Henry Fairs play Buxtehude, Hoffmann and Bruhns. He is now so fat I am amazed he can see the pedals! They locked a troublesome door which i do not think they should have done. It made my exit befofe the Nielsen awkward. To Otford and found the church without a problem. A Roland keyboard which had organ and piano sounds. Rehearsed with choir from Erith directed by Christine. The priests were late so I played Elgar Chanson de matin and some Stanley. Leonard Cohen Alleluya and Haas setting. Oh happy day was Ok despite the choir singing one harmony against what I was playing. I finished with Pomp and circumstance No. 1 but had to stop for more announcements and then restart. Liz and Luis served. To a school playing field in Sevenoaks for Pimms, nice picnic and cream tea. People enjoyed the Mass and the music. We sat with John and Linda Carton. I did a sketch. Came home via Otford and Shoreham. Too late for evensong and played some Dvorak on the piano. Watched "The Night watch" based on Sarah Waters book. Germany won the World Cup not that I'm bothered. Sorted Proms scores.
