Catenian meetings

Tuesday to Swanley for meeting about membership with Bernard Noakes. It was quite useful. Got back at 11. 15 too late to go to Acton so got up early Wednesday and got there by 8.20. Sean really enjoyed Tamar and played the drums - he loved walking about. Played dinosaur game with Ciaran and he knows so much! Left at 2.30 to get home by 4 for Brendan to pick me up. Bill drove in his Jaguar. The Canterbury meeting at the Kent cricket ground went well and the meal of lamb and profiteroles was good. It was £25 plus I paid for a round and raffle for Bursary fund. Kirkham cup standard of speeches was high and Maidstone won despite Dulwich's funny speech. Home at 12.30. Once in bed realised I had not put rubbish out so up just in time to do it.
To interfaith lunch which was delicious! Watched Come dine with me and film music programme.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
