Gerald Gillen

To Croydon circle- Bernard and I were the only visitors. Had a good chat to Jim Mann and Bill O'Doherty. To Acton and got there at 11.15. Liz was at school all day and a meeting after school. Simon was working on bathroom. To later music with Tamar and Sean enjoyed most of it. Had lunch and kept him on a tight rein! To Gunnersbury park and we went to see the ducks - looked up from the lunch bag to find Canada geese rather close! To the cathedral for Gerald Gillen recital -  a reasonable audience. It was all rather loud but very well played. Home to watch Our Zoo and Bake off and Question of sport.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
