Monday up early SM and B. Nice chat to Ann. Took organ shoes to Wallington. Colette's meeting. Catching up on proms Haydn and Simpson string quartets and cellist Abel Selaocoe. SM prayer time was lovely. Balham folk only 4. Cabinet meeting and all Croydon libraries stay open but with reduced hours and 15 staff made redundant. Fake or fortune about Landseer. Only connect, University challenge, Celebrity masterchef. Booked trip next week.

Tuesday B. SM didn't happen so chatted to Helen Gimson in Norfolk and went to Southwark cathedral instead where you get a good homily! Liz's lunch out postponed as her friend got pinged. Julie and her husband were pinged because their next door neighbour had covid - they had not seen her at all! Animal park. Wed. Up early. SM, B, Southwark cathedral morning prayer, St John's. Hansard from NT again - it's very moving. Picasso Weeping woman, Hudson river, RCO competition James Short in red socks, Ashley Wagner.  Meditation. Death cafe video. Niagara river film. Wenying Wu won. Ashley and Merle joint second. Bidding room. Come dine with me paralympics. Henry slept right through the night. Paw patrol and games. Took him to Crystal Palace to get his school shoes. I had to come home to get his socks and by that time Dennis was back from taking Clare to Heathrow. I then went to Wallington to collect my organ shoes soles fixed and reheeled. Had lunch on my return and Henry cleared up and did soem very good lettering and drawing. Churches trust talk on mediaeval tombs. Addiscombe will lend tables for Great Big green week and payment come through for insurance on hire car. Enjoyed the Greenfaith session - Revd Fletcher from USA was excellent. Come dine with me. I cooked harissa chicken - it was delicious and not too spicey. Zoom with Caterham folk about faith. Night at the opera from Proms on TV, Beethoven 5 on radio.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
