Antonia Kessel on violin and Edward Bale viola. Mozart Divertimento K563 full of delights. Adrian's Christmas cake. Well attended. Took Liz to leisure centre to check on Healthwise scheme. Richard Coles Winter walk to Rievaulx Abbey. More notes for the Southwark group. Belmont vespers X 2. The Tablet this week reviewed Procession which I found on Netflix. Appalling the way priests treated boys and did not believe their complaints. Worth watching. Something must be done. Root and Branch Synod have 4 sessions on zoom about this. Even their parents did not believe them!

Sunday evenings are a delight! Green planet, Call the midwife, pottery throwdown. St Martin in the Fields Epiphany carols and watching again a great programme on being a male ballet dancer. Monday SM S and B. OLd mattress into back bedroom. Spidir committee. Excellent launch of Southern dioceses network once a month. 48 there. New mattress came but we cannot get it up the stairs! Watched Matthew Bourne's The Red Shoes. David got the mattress upstairs for us. It is very comfortable and firm! Also the new pillows. Belmont vespers.Only connect, University challenge, Van Gogh on the BBC and an excellent programme based on his letters with Dominic Cumberbatch.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
