To Riddlesdown. The server who let me in announced that the Karg-Elert was too loud so in the end I played Franck instead. Grant was very friendly. I played Bach and Thiman on Slane. The baptism party took over the church with loads of cameras and they did not sing! To SJ for lunch and then home to find Bruce here. Hyderi postponed the iftar in mourning for the Ayatollah so I went to evensong. Dyson, Farrant and Brahms Geistliches lied. Call the midwife and pottery throwdown. Bill was out. The news continues to horrify with many innocent people dead and Iran retaliating across the Middle East. Trump is mad. I completed my funeral presentation except for the Elijah extract which got cut off before the end.

To St Mildred’s Addiscombe for orchestral rehearsal of the Brahms Requiem the concert is on March 28 at St John the Evangelist Upper Norwood. Bruce back but we didn't see him.
An interesting day. To Salvation Army to exercise class with Jean seated bit fine, balance not so good and the line dancing isn’t really my scene. To Lent group at Beckenham Methodist Richard Harries the re-enchantment of morality. Lunch then practised Bach which is very good for the soul. Thursday both went to FCJS to meet Cheryl from the Philippines. Martin came from Cheltenham, Peter from Leicester, Rose from Sussex, Karin from Newcastle so we had a good cross-section of animators. Anita and Cecilia and St MaryAnne. Nice eats. It was an interesting meeting. We decided to come home as felt tired so no Tate. Looked for photos of Liz. Apprentice in Egypt led to a triple firing! Friday to Guys audiology and new moulds and I need to clear more stuff on my mobile phone and get the update. I did this and Be More is working. To Tate Britain by boat and Turner and Constable is a lovely exhibition but far too many people. We had tea and met a lady from SJ whose name escapes me boat back in the rain and train to NJ. Lovely coffee concert at St John the Evangelist, Upper Norwood Peter Mallinson and Matthias Wiesner 2 violas returned. Loved the James Macmillan and Rodney Williams and bought a CD. To Baitul Futuh mosque Morden 1000 people there for iftar! Tour and Khaleel was delighted to see us.

Monday Ann in NZ. LIz to pack medals. Did not go to swimming felt tired. Father Brown involved Buddhism. To Phoenix centre talk on the trans-Siberian railway. Drove to St Mary's university Cardinal Michael and Archbishop Kevin on Nostra aetate, Lots of people I know and bought 2 books. Also met a German lady and the Zoroastrians. Home by 9.15. Face the music and University challenge.
Tuesday Liz to Guys. Ann in Dunedin. To Scratchley hall for Albert's band's return Royal Albert Hall songbook was a delight. Trumpet, tuba, guitarist who sings. Lovely booklet. Only one other person from Art group! Chat to Brenda who wants to join art. To library to see our paintings. My mobile battery flat so got the photos from Pauline. To meditation in the hall - so many in a large circle. Danny ignored my suggestion of two circles and groups. Result did not join in. Danny used mike but still did not understand him! Only 4 people spoke! Liz arrived for tea and cake. Very unsatisfactory. Had a lovely chat to Clare. Did the small wooden jigsaw African safari. Charming some of the little shapes are giraffes and trees!
Wednesday swam 20.Washing out. Practised Bach at Beck Methodist. Some missing from Lent group but Karen joined. Discussed sex and money. We will miss Power next week. Supervision group on zoom. AnneMarie on good form. Washing in and ironing. SM Neil MacGregor on Tintoretto Washing of the feet. Group 1 was smaller this week and a useful sharing.
