Labyrinth

Satyed home Tuesday and read 2 Alexander McCall Smiths. Also watched Country house revealed and Lead Balloon. Liz to rehearsal for Friday's ordination. Wednesday back still playing up. Took Ciarán to Acton Park and met Bruce there and had palma ham sandwich. To Ealing Abbey on the bus and rained but sun came out. Quiet afternoon with Fr Robin and Jill talking about her quilt and Eastertide. Walked the labyrinth together with interfaith group - 9 in all. Sat in the Abbey where I was received into the church June 1974 in a side chapel - not sure which one - think it's been reordered. Tea in silence and sharing time followed by short evening prayer. Tube to town with Margaret. Chorus rehearing Missa. Watched Apprentice on return home - Edna out. Wednesday woke late and fried breakfast.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
