Put Christmas stuff away and rearranged lounge shelves and back bedroom for drawing course. Croydon OH guy came and put in 2 rails and brought kitchen seat and bathroom seat. Come dine with me from Aberdeen. Celebrity cook. More work on St Paul's cathedral. Music and liturgy came. 

Thursday woke late. Ann on skype. Chat to Clare. Blackfriars St Catherine de Ricci and found her lovely meditation on the passion. St Martin's. Come dine with me. St Martin's music and talk about government. An excellent talk by Chris Hewer on unity and diversity in the 3 Abrahamic faiths. 

Friday Blackfriars, St Martin's morning song, leaf blower in the garden as it was drier, excellent RSCM talk by Paddy Russill on Terry and new English music for the cathedral. Bidding room. Matthew Martin playing at Gonville and Caius - no shoes! Zoom to launch Sr Patricia Rumsey's book on women in the church -it only costs £62! Watching a new Barber of Seville from Norsk opera. Quite why the tenor spent a lot of time in his underpants is beyond me!

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
