Tuesday Liz to Guys and had a bad day. Kings did not ring her. Swim and then supervision group at All Saints. Meditation discussed the vision of God. To Picturehouse H is for Hawk is a lovely film with great photography and music and Claire Foy. Liz met me there and drove home as Whitehorse Lane is blocked where the roadworks are. Wed organ practice Harry is home with carers. Swim. To Zedwell to change the paintings. A match and the closure of Whitehorse Lane causing traffic jams and it was raining too.
Thursday 12th. Art and finished the Przewalski horses. Esme is 90. Fruit basket but the cake did not get cut! To clinic but I must phone ENT - tried 3 times and each time I was cut off. To Wibberleys and we signed up for funeral plans with Nick and had a long chat. Animators zoom. I gave Jane the wrong time but we had a good discussion including zoos. FCJS zoom very good Heart to heart. The Apprentice. The jigsaw of sweets in the 80s is very absorbing.
Friday 13th. Unacc. To Balham lab 93 cafe to meet Jeff. To Zedwell for the opening and met several artists including Catriona. Saw Sadiq Khan turn on the Ramadan lights. To rooftop of 1 Leicester Square hotel for reception and AMir arrived in a bowler hat. Met Mr Aziz who is a billionaire described as the worst landlord in London. The Aziz foundation supports young Muslim students from poor backgrounds. I was interested in what people consider smart evening wear these days. Given a lantern and ginger biscuits from Fortnum and Mason. It was a most successful evening. I had along chat to the deputy mayor of Westminster who had met Cardinal Vincent.
Sat 14th. Splendid installation of Archbishop Richard. A fine homily and great address from Bishop Sarah. The music was terrific especially MacMillan and Mawby. Lauds the cantor very faint so emailed Lorcan. The camera work was amateurish. To Anerley and a priest who had been stusying in Rome played items on his laptop including Panis sung by a very operatic soprano. We had a lovely M and S Valentines meal Coquilles St Jaques, roast duck with maple glaze, spring greens, profiteroles Cotes de Provence rose
