Took Liz early for blood test. Dr Ojo rang. Faith action received Free churches report on social cohesion. SLIFG heard a fantastic lecture by Chris Hewer on Hussein. Committee followed. Laudato Si animators meeting. Dialogue at Laudato Si' institute Oxford on economics - I am no economist. Marina and Peter Donohoe on Rachmaninov fascinating. So a lot of zooms today! Martin Renshaw on a day in the parish church and lots of sung services. Master chef professional.

Good to see Duncan Aitkins, Ann and Paul Moynihan there. I was wondering if the passada idea could be adapted for home use? Mary and Joseph go searching for shelter - perhaps they could move from room to room? We have always had an Advent wreath at home and used to have a useful little book with prayers of blessing and simple prayers for children to mark the passing of the days. Of course we have our little houses with a treat for each day and Advent calendars. CAFOD and others are doing Advent calendars online.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
