Spring time

 Wednesday. Awake in the night with burping and wind. Liz was sick in the morning but reported all OK when she went to Guys. Blackfriars, SMITF, St John's. Faith Action coffee zoom. Bit of meditatio then Ben Nicholas playing Howells, Bach, Franck, Martin and Elgar at Cirencester. The soft passages were too soft. 3 lots of washing all done and bed changed. Still awaiting reply from Fr Witon - I emailed this morning. Mark Jones playing Easter music at Holt. Faiths together in Croydon and Cathedral Live simply group zooms. Ashley Grote playing at Norwich. Cathedral challenge won by the directors of music - very well presented. Sewing Bee and QI. 

Thursday woke too early and Liz got to Guys late! Blackfriars, SMITF, Diocese of Worcester on legacies. Zoom with Clare. Gresham lecture on Napoleon and gardens very interesting. LSI' meeting. Cardinal Fitzgerald giving the Georgetown lecture. I skipped bible study - too many zooms. Excellent recital from Birmingham St Chad's David Saint and Paul Carr. Excellent Churches trust talk on royal tombs of England. New hearing aids are great! 

Friday Liz left at 8. SMITF Morning song, Blackfriars Fr Timothy. Interviewed Balbir - bit repetitive and on and on! Adrian Moore playing at Leamington Spa. James Davy of Chelmsford cathedral playing at St Edmundsbury. Haircut. Sharon did not appear for zoom. GCCM prayers. Reading Tablet. Mark Dancer playing at St Mary Portsea.  Costello thought zoom was cancelled because I changed the end time. Prem can't so later time with Rizwan! Tammas Slater playing Bach at Gonville and Caius. A long dummy run with Rizwan. Programme on the Shannon. Natalie Klein programme on romantic composers.

Saturday woke 8.30 was up in the night. Blackfriars. Belmont retreat excellent. National Justice and Peace zoom. All over 50, 37 there, 7 on executive. Talks on Covid and education. Had a chat to Maria Elena and Ellen. Richard Carter in the rain in Brighton. Shed delivered and in garden. It came from Worcester! Vespers from Belmont. St Andrew's looking for director of music again. Programme about Las Vegas hotel. Lovely programme on the Duchess of Kent.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
