More on patience
II. Chorus
For all flesh is like grass,
and all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers,
and the flower falls... -I PETER I
Be patient, therefore, beloved
until the coming of the Lord.
The farmer waits
for the precious crop from the earth
being patient with it
until it receives
the early and the late rains.
You also must be patient. -JAMES 5
This is the passage I was recalling at the spirituality day yesterday from the Brahms Requiem. Whatever our problems the rain will fall and the sun will rise.
