Woke at 5 then slept to 8.30. Nazareth community walk in Crane park, Teddington with Richard's brother and dog. Blackfriars. Daniel Cook launched London organ day at Durham in style with Darke and Elgar. To St Thomas's for 1 p.m. hearing test. Not had one for 4 years and deterioration in right ear particularly so I am to have new aids but first wax must be removed. It's good Liz got the ball rolling. Everyone wearing masks on train and buses. Lots of flats around the power station. Fascinating film about the rebuild of King's Cambridge and Robert Quinney playing Mendelssohn very fast! Francesca Massey at Rochester excellent JSB, Reubkhe, Dupre and Leighton. Did some more jigsaw. Watched The white tiger - I read the book some years ago.

Sunday woke at 6 email to Xavier. Slept again. Blackfriars, Caterham sound very low, impressive baritone singing at Upper Norwood, Caterham zoom - lots of kids and Peregrine was there. Made another trug. Grayson's art club. The edge of the jigsaw giving me grief but finished it. Commonwealth Day service and ceremony in the Abbey was well done especially the New Zealand youth choir. I saw the flags yesterday. Bruce rang. Gonville and Caius compline. Attenborough on colours in nature. Great pottery throw down and Antiques roadshow. Blown away first series. The Pope's visit to Iraq has been marvellous.

Monday woke early. Nice chat to Ann. Blackfriars excellent homily, SMITF, Ashley Oliver played well at St Michael's Cornhill - Alain, Dupre, Durufle. I listened to Polina Sosnina's recital again. Made a third trug. Watched Behind the beautiful forevers from the National Theatre. Colette's zoom meeting and Chris from Addiscombe was there. It seems Westminster and Southwark do not have official environment reps!! Carmody Grey lecture rather academic but she answered the questions well. Balham circle chat. Drawers off. Maidstone circle. Only connect and University challenge.
