 Thursday SM, S and B. Story board for history video so did not go to art. Churches trust talk on ghosts. To dentist and impressions taken - not a nice taste! £282!! 17 at LSI meeting and it was lively! Cooked harissa chicken and lentil jumble - the cumin was a bit hot but delicious. To Jeremiah Stephenson's recital at St John's. British organ music Bairstow, Whitlock, Stanford, Lemare, Farringdon. Not so keen on his macho outfit of T shirt! He got Whitlock wrong saying he was a cathedral organist and Blackpool tower!! He also described English music as like a trifle i.e. a mess!! Repair shop, Bake off extra slice with Maggy. 

Friday SM, S and B. Invites for Nov 28 done by email. To doctor for pneumonia jab for over75s. Queue outside 16 when I got there. Had to sit down once inside. Queue moved forward because names were needed - people trying to jump the queue of course. Too much standing and only Dr Ojo doing it. Seems St Edmundsbury cathedral recitals are no longer on facebook. Mick. Money for nothing and Flog it from Longleat. Cooked Serrano ham and creme fraiche linguine with tenderfoot broccoli and butternut squash - delicious. Linguine stuck to pan as I forgot to turn heat off!  Romeo and Juliet from National theatre terrific acting from a star cast. Very moving. 

Saturday slept badly pain in right shoulder where I had the injection. Swk. ACTA zoom Sr Gemma and good discussions. Zoom at last with Steve Reed MP - nothing will change until Labour gets into power with Green bill. He keeps on asking questions of ministers. Support for Croydon community energy. ACTA synod in the morning, zoom meeting with Steve Reed MP (at last) and excellent Crichton lecture by Fr Paul Turner from Kansas City and Society of St Gregory AGM. What a joy to be back at the cathedral after 17 months and a warm welcome too! The train travel was Ok. The cardinal celebrated Mass for the opening of the Synod. Strictly was good.

Sunday Prelude on Gartan Stanford, Prelude by Alan Gray, March St Patrick's breastplate Alec Wyton. Cooked pork steaks. Muslims declare zoom on ethical issues was very interesting comparing 4 people in different countries. Neil Sissons playing at GMC. The mating game. Earthshot prize. Strictly. Monday SM and B, St Luke's day, No Swk. Gresham lecture on perspective. Interesting email back from Paul Deveaux. Paul Stanford Churches trust talk. Mass for John Flora's partner from cathedral. Colette's meeing. Put up pictures and plates in our bedroom. Cannot remember what went on one wall! SMITF Nazareth reflection and excellent talks on Black lives matter David Lammy particularly so. Only connect, University challenge, Blair and Brown series.
